Knowledge Day (the 1st of September) is the day when the school year traditionally starts. This day also marks the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. It has special significance for the incoming class of first graders who come to school for the first time and often participate in a celebratory assembly on this date. The day also involves the First Bell where a first grade girl is lifted on the shoulders of the 11th grade male pupil, and paraded around, ringing the first bell of the school year. Students in other grades may begin studies on September 1 or a few days later, usually without any special festivities.

September 1 - a fun holiday. We are glad that we can come back to school and sit at school desks. The evening with the family, we're going for dinner. Eat cake and congratulate each other.

ОтветитьУдалитьI do not have special traditions to celebrate the Day of Knowledge. But I think it is a very important day in the life of everyone. Without knowledge, we would not be able to lead a civilized life. I sincerely wish everyone to achieve their goals.

Typically, the range starts with two hymns. then, the director and the assembled guests say farewell speech. our kids solemnly swear to be good students. then begin lessons! usually the class hour. Children give flowers to teachers and go home. I still go to the tutor

ОтветитьУдалитьIt is a coommon knowlege that this day is often called the day of torment. But when u grow older you realize that u should appreciate every day of your life.
