Each year
January 11th is marked as International Thank You Day. The origin of the
holiday seems to be unknown and many believe it was artificially created by
some clever greeting cards company to help generate more sales, but it doesn't
really make the concept less appealing, does it? All that is expected of you to
participate in the International Thank You Day celebration is to show your
appreciation to the people who make your life beautiful. A reason good enough
to pen a thank you note to someone special, or even to yourself!

ОтветитьУдалитьMaybe if International Thank You Day was the national holiday, we would know more about it and have some special traditions.
Actually, I have never celebrated this holyday, but in my opinion it is a good idea. Usually we don’t think about people who sometimes help us or who helped us only once, and our help is also sometimes forgotten. That is happen because each person has his own problems and concerns. Therefore this day is a chance to say thank you to our family, friends and people who maybe one day made our life better. I think people who will get our “thank you” can be a little bit happier.
