Every year hundreds of scientific discoveries are
introduced in industry, agriculture, medicine, education & service. New
inventions are appearing every day to make our lives easier, longer, warmer,
speedier & so on. The development of science has increased man’s knowledge
of nature so greatly that now it influences all sides of human life. All these achievements were absolutely impossible
without inventions & discoveries made in different fields of science &
engineering by great scientists: mathematicians, physicists, chemists,

Whose contribution is the greatest? Why?
I consider that the biggest contribution to the world of science was made by Copernicus. He could prove that it is not stars and the sun move around our planet. The scientist has found out that Earth isn't the center of the Universe and was absolutely right. If not this person, astronomers would be repelled from the incorrect theory and would lose plenty of time on the wrong opening or attempts something to open. But with these achievement scientists continue to move forward in astronomy and to make new and interesting discoveries.
ОтветитьУдалитьI consider that the biggest contribution to the world of science was made by Isaac Newton. He is one of the greatest scientists of all time. He achived world fame as the discoverer of the law of universal gravitation and the differential calculus. He suggested that it was gravity which bound the Moon to the Earth and the other planets to the Sun. Then came the formulation of Newton's three laws of motion, the analysis by experiment of white light and the nature of colors.

His most famous discovery was the law of universal gravitation.
