ОтветитьУдалитьTalking about the post, I find this idea exciting! Just imagine, that we will have an ability to see lovely views of our country on postcards and share this delight with the others.
Of course, we can take photo by ourselves or just download it from the Internet, but using postcards, envelopes and just a usual mail is absolutely another way of sharing happy moments… It is more material, we can feel it, touch it, and… it is something about keeping with you for years. Handwritten letters is a unique kind of relationships with the information, where the time, the paper and ink are being the part of relationships between two people. I’d like you to understand the magic of the process, during which things are playing such an important role, during which things are participating in the process of communication, expressing not only the thoughts, but as well the mood, the individuality of the person, who use it. As Chuck Palahniuk said, “your handwriting. the way you walk. which china pattern you choose. it's all giving you away. everything you do shows your hand. everything is a self portrait. everything is a diary.” The magic of things becomes real in handwritten letters.
And, of course, that’s great, that usual people, non-professional photographers, can participate in the project and share their nice moments of unity with nature. Thanks to this idea everyone can try the role of the photographer and share his experience
To my mind, Belarus Postcard Project is a unique opportunity for average people to show their vision of Belarus.
ОтветитьУдалитьAs a photographer, I'm strongly considered that every photo is a reflection of photographer's inner world. If the mother takes photo of her child, it's always filled with love and tenderness. The same happens with the person, who is keen on nature and tries to catch every moment of its beauty. Such photos and works of art are really priceless. Through the eye of the person, who loves his motherland, even a simple countryside will become a picturesque valley.
Furthermore, with the help of this project we will be able to share our national beauty with each other and with foreigners as well. A few suitable words will complete the impression created by the picture.
Therefore I believe that Belarus Postcard Project will be successful, thanking to the photographers and the amateurs, taking part in it. Lovely pictures on the postcards will certainly popularize belarusian culture and attract foreign visitors.
In my opinion, Belarus Postcard Project is tremendous. It is so cool just to show foreigners how Belarus looks like from our point of new. It is always interesting to compare what native people see and what others think they can see there. I think, Belarus is one of those places whose best sight is its own nature, but no architecture or crazy amusement parks. Also thanks to such kind of projects we broaden our horizons. I guess Belarus still has secret, magical and pure places to visit. Most of us don't know our country well enough, so this project helps us to know our counry better. If you know your country, you know who you are!
